TWO OPPURTNITIES FOR

WILDERNESS FIRST AID TRAINING!

(Please Note: Units going to Philmont need to have at least one person per crew certified in Wilderness First Aid.)

First Date: April 12th & 13th, 2008
Time: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day - yes, it is a 16 hour course
Location: Regina High School, 2140 Rochester Ave., Iowa City
Class will be in a temporary classroom back by baseball fields
Fee: $75/person payable to Grant Wood Area Red Cross with registration
Pre-registration with payment is REQUIRED!!
In order to be assured of having a book for the course, please
register by March 27th. Becky has the course on the system so is
ready to take your registration now.

Class size is limited to 16-18 people (students need to be at least
14 years old).

Come dressed for the weather both days - you will be going outside
into the wilderness!

Second Date: May 27, 2007 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. & May 28, 2007 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Location: YMCA Camp Wapsie in Coggon
Cost: $120, which covers:
Course materials
Lunch, dinner & lodging, Tuesday, May 27
Breakfast & lunch, Wednesday, May 28
Please bring sleeping bags or linens, towels, and toiletries.
